Mettá is a Sanskrit word often used in Buddhist teachings which translates into English as "Loving Kindness" or sometimes as "Unconditional Positive Regard".

Mettá was chosen as the name for this web site because Loving Kindness is what naturally flows from true awareness. The subjects and content to be found here are provided to encourage the growth of self awareness.
